• Responsible for all well planning and engineering design for normal and HPHT well
• Review and improve current Well Design.
  • Prepare detailed drilling programs and budgets.
  • Prepare drilling reports and final well reports.
• Capture Lessons Learnt in all programs.
• rig selections and Review equipment specifications and methods and be prepared
  to recommend new techniques.
• Coordinate with other team members and other department within the company to ensure the delivery of technical well objectives.
  • Participate in technical tender preparation and evaluation when required.
  • Support Drilling Superintendent and Drilling Manager for daily operation.
  • Develop young engineers within the department.
• Coordinate the development of Company Well Engineering Polices and Standards, Procedures and Guidelines to deliver safe and efficient operations .
• Ensuring that projects keep to budgets and timescales.
• Participate in technical conferences,workshops and exhibition if required.
  Other duty to carry out daily work as required.
• Provide technical engineering support to Waha Drilling teams on complex drilling technical issues
• Develop well design standards and verify standards are followed by each unit
• Develop standard drilling procedures, check lists, and databases across all units
• Develop and manage “fit for purpose” quality management program and QA plans for onshore services
• Lead peer reviews on all new drilling procedures and programs
• Mentor less-experienced drilling engineers
• Analyze offset competitor benchmark data and identify opportunities for improved performance.
• Identify and implement performance improvement initiatives and monitor effectiveness.
• Evaluate new technology and determine suitable areas to achieve cost reduction
• Lead tendering of drilling services and equipment across all units to achieve leverage of scale
• Lead technical sessions to promote/share new technology in drilling operationsHSEC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in well and operational risk assessments and HAZOPS.
• Provide technical input to campaign risk assessments.

Familiar with WWD HSEC Management System and provide suggestions for improvement based on using it.
