Job Description & Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and setting development goals.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members.
- Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the sales team.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Oversee the management of customer accounts, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues.
- Develop and implement strategies for customer retention and growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Sales Operations:
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage the sales budget, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure the sales team adheres to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Work closely with the sales operations team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Present sales results and forecasts to senior management.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales processes and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a senior sales position, preferably within the [industry].
