Job Description & Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement QA Strategies:
- Design and oversee the implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Ensure QA strategies align with company objectives and industry standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals.
- Set performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide training and development opportunities.
- Quality Planning:
- Develop quality plans and standards for projects and products.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., R&D, Production) to integrate quality processes into all phases of product development.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of QA processes and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Issue Management:
- Identify, analyze, and resolve quality-related issues and non-conformities.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure products and processes comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on changes in quality regulations and best practices.
- Customer Focus:
- Address customer feedback and complaints related to product quality.
- Implement improvements based on customer input and satisfaction surveys.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team and the broader organization.
- Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance quality management processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management). A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) may be preferred.
- Experience: Several years of experience in quality assurance, including experience in a managerial role. Experience in the specific industry or domain is often required.
