Job Description & Requirements

OBJECTIVE
Front End Developers are computer programmers who specialize in website design

DUTIES AND TASKS:

  1. Determines the structure and design of web pages.
  2. Ensures user experience determines design choices.
  3. Develops features to enhance the user experience.
  4. Strikes a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
  5. Ensures web design is optimized for smartphones.
  6. Builds reusable code for future use.
  7. Optimizes web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
  8. Utilizes a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
  9. Maintains brand consistency throughout design.
  10. Uses markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages.
  11. Creates tools that enhance the user’s website experience.
  12. Writes website code with programming languages such as HTML, Css and JavaScript.
  13. Tests websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors routinely.
  14. Fixes any website issues or bugs that arise.
  15. Optimizes application for Search engine (SEO).
  16. Validates input before submitting to back end.
  17. Designs mobile-based features.
  18. Ensures the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor in computer science /engineering.
  • 1+ years of software development experience.
  • Excellent understanding of frameworks (e.g. JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS, htm15, CSS).
  • Knowledge of Agile software development practices.
