Job Description & Requirements
Job Summary: The Ammonia System Operator Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of ammonia refrigeration systems. This role involves supervising a team of ammonia system operators, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing best practices to optimize system performance. The Senior Supervisor is also tasked with developing maintenance schedules, managing emergency responses, and ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a technical degree or certification in refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field is preferred. Certification as an Ammonia Refrigeration Operator (CARO) or Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration system operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
