Job Description & Requirements

As a Startups Specialist Intern at Qayendy, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base by identifying and engaging with emerging startups. Your main responsibilities will include researching potential startup clients, introducing them to our services, and managing follow-up communications to nurture these relationships. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your business development and client relationship skills in the dynamic world of startups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Startup Research: Identify and research startups that could benefit from our services by using various tools and platforms.
  • Outreach and Proposals: Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage with targeted startups, including cold emailing, social media messaging, and other communication channels.
  • Service Presentation: Present our services to potential startup clients through calls, meetings, and presentations, effectively communicating the value proposition.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain regular follow-up with engaged startups, addressing their inquiries, and guiding them through the decision-making process.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with startup founders and decision-makers to increase the likelihood of partnership.
  • CRM Management: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with startups in our CRM system.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor the startup ecosystem to identify trends and opportunities for expanding our client base.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and enhance the effectiveness of our proposals.

Requirements:

  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong research and analytical abilities to identify and understand startups’ needs.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools and databases for managing client interactions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online research tools.
    • Basic understanding of the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurial landscape.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience or coursework in business development, sales, or startups is a plus.
    • Experience with client outreach and relationship management is beneficial.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Highly motivated and proactive, with a passion for startups and innovation.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
    • Comfortable with cold outreach and following up persistently to close deals.
